About Us

This veterinary practice has two locations in Fremont, Nebraska.  There is an outpatient clinic located at 2345 Laverna Street, just north of Big Red Keno building.  The second location is on Luther Road, 1 1/2 mile north of highway 30, north of Sid Dillon Chevrolet.

We have been in existence for 43 years in the location on Luther Road.  We maintain a hospital and treatment facility as well as boarding kennels at this site.

Routine appointments and dispensing of medication are most commonly done at the clinic on Laverna Street.

Our staff consists of a full time licensed Veterinary Technician, Janet, an experienced office manager, Barb, and part time technicians.  Janet graduated in February of 1983 from National College in Rapid City, South Dakota, and has over 37 years in the veterinary profession.  Barb is a graduate of The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has worked with the practice for over 15 years.

Dr. Verner graduated from The University of Missouri in 1973 and was part of a mixed practice in eastern Nebraska until coming to Fremont to open this particular practice in 1976.
